Shapes and Patterns

“Repeated patterns become facts, and when you’re in touch with the facts you can predict the future.”
― Aniekee Tochukwu Ezekiel

A pattern is a regularity in the world, in human-made design, or in abstract ideas. As such, the elements of a pattern repeat in a predictable manner.

A shape is the form of an object or its external boundary, outline, or external surface, as opposed to other properties such as colour, texture or material type.

Today Class II children have started with the revision for the topic “Shapes and Patterns”. They did an activity where they used a piece of cloth (plain/printed).Then they compared plain piece with printed piece .They understood that the printed piece of cloth looks more attractive than the plain piece of cloth because the printed one has many designs .Through that  they identified different shapes and patterns. From this activity our students have also learnt our universe and alliterative.

Finally, Our SAIoneers understood how different subjects are interrelated and got a clear idea about different concepts.
