“The human body is the best work of art.” – Jess C. Scott
Human body is a beautiful creation of God and it is our responsibility to keep it healthy and active. Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is also the basic of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Learning about human body from an early age and how to keep it healthy is immensely important.
The students of Nursery were taught about basic body parts and their uses. The concept was introduced with an interesting rhyme “head, shoulder, knees and toes”, to create interest among the students. With the help of this rhyme, they were briefed about the function of each part of the body.
The lesson ended with a small activity where the students were given a picture and asked to identify the missing part in the body. They were then asked to place the correct part in the sheet. Students thoroughly enjoyed the highly interactive lesson which also helped them to enhance their naturalistic and visual skill.
