Colour recognition and naming are integral to a child’s growth. Young learners of Nursery enjoyed colouring apples and bananas, immersing in the Euphoric Hues project. Selecting and applying colours brought joy, nurturing visual, fine motor, and linguistic proficiencies through this engaging endeavours.
The activity yielded the following learning outcomes:
- Colour Recognition: Students identified and named different colours through hands-on engagement with colouring materials.
- Fine Motor Skills: Manipulating colouring tools improved dexterity and fine motor coordination.
- Visual Perception: Colouring objects enhanced visual discrimination and sensitivity to different shades.
