Yoga and Mindfulness: A Joyous Return after the Summer Break

“Mindfulness in early childhood is the foundation for a balanced and harmonious life.”-Anonymous

Every year on June 21st, SAI Angan celebrates International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting yoga’s importance for holistic health. This year, after a long vacation, the children returned with boundless energy, eager to participate in rejuvenating yoga postures.

The excitement was palpable as they gathered to engage in a series of yoga activities designed to rejuvenate their minds and bodies. These sessions were not only physically beneficial but also infused with fun, as each posture was introduced with engaging stories and imagery. The practice emphasized mindfulness, balance, and flexibility, helping the children ease back into their school routine with a sense of calm and focus.

This special celebration at SAI Angan beautifully underscored the holistic benefits of yoga, marking a refreshing and healthful start to the post-vacation period.
