Water transport is the process of transportation in a boat, streamer, ship, sailboat etc over a body of water, such as a sea, ocean, lake, canal or river. It is an important mode of transport. It is primarily used for the carriage of people, perishable and non-perishable goods which is generally referred to as cargo.

The students of Play Group came to know about various water transports. Through an activity, they learnt about boat. It started with giving the little one’s paper cut outs of different colours. With the help of teaches, they folded the papers and made boats. They were very excited to see the colourful boats and after that they floated their boats in a water tub.

With this activity they developed their fine motor, linguistic,  naturalistic, inter and intra personal skills.
