Transport or transportation is the movement of humans and goods from one place to another. There are three main modes of transport and among them air transport is one. Air transport is the most recent mode of transport.   It is a gift of 20th century to the world.

Air transport is an important means for achieving economic growth and development. It helps in generating trade, promotes tourism and creates employment opportunities. The biggest advantage of air transport lies in its speed as it is the fastest means of transport.

The students of Play Group were introduced to air transport through flash cards, toys as well as through an activity in which children made aeroplane with dough. This activity helped in enhancing their fine motor and naturalistic skills.
