“One can find time for everything if one is never in a hurry.” — Mikhail Bulgakov
Time is unstoppable! It runs continuously.
In mathematics, time can be defined as the ongoing and continuous sequence of events that occur in succession, from the past through the present to the future. We measure time in seconds, minutes, hours with clocks and days, weeks, months and years with calendars.
Today Class II learners have started with the revision for the topic”Time and Calendar”. They did an activity where they used a clock and an English Calendar. They used different types of clocks for example : wall clock/ table clock/ their own earlier handmade clock. Children were asked to show the time like 5:15, 5:30 and 5:45 using clocks. Each child had shown time in clock and wrote in a piece of paper what is the other forms of reading the times of 5:15, 5:30 and 5:45. From this activity our students have also merged paragraph writing from English and Great Indians from EVS.
Finally, our SAIoneers understood how different subjects are inter-related and got a clear idea about different concepts.
