“All true art must help the soul to realize it’s inner-self”.
Gandhiji recognised art and artists according to his own philosophy of life. He said that true art speaks to the millions and is a symbol of happiness.
Marking the 150th birth celebration of Mahatma Gandhi the students of Class I drew the sketch of Mahatma Gandhi during their drawing class. They also got an opportunity to hear and speak about his simplicity, philosophy, high ideals, teachings and his fight for freedom. The students promised to imbibe and follow all his teachings and ideologies.
This helped to reinforce a sense of patriotism and fondness for Gandhiji’s ideologies in our young souls. His ideals have inspired many artists of this world.
