“Nothing is better than a picnic” – Zooey Deschanel

It is said you bring your own weather to a picnic. It was well proven by students of Classes II and III as they brought the spring weather with them when they excitedly boarded the bus for the picnic towards SIRS.

The enthusiasm was high as the bus rolled towards the gate to enter the camp site. All the children played games like handkerchief thief as they ran around chasing their friends. They played charades where all their friends tried to guess what movie they were acting out and also danced together with their friends.

The day was filled with laughter and giggles. The teachers also joined in the fun, playing with the kids and running around. As the time lunch rolled around, everyone was eager to fill their tummies with the delicious Biriyani, French fries, etc. that was being served. A little rest later, the picnic continued with games and more giggles.

However, as nothing lasts forever, the picnic also came to a close. The children had exhausted all their energy and quietly sat on the bus. Some even fell asleep on their friends shoulders as the bus smoothly made its way back to school. This concluded the trips and picnic of the session with a big bang.
