“The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun.” – Robert Herrick

The scorching rays of the Sun escapes none. The students of KG II had a fun time learning about the season and how to protect themselves from the sunrays. They were made to wear cotton dresses, sunglasses, hats and even use umbrella. They also had water melon and apple juice to get the real feel of the season.

Through an electronic presentation, students learnt about the importance of diet during the season and about the varieties of food that can keep the body cool and relaxed. At the end an activity was conducted to learn more about the hot weather phenomenon. They were given paper plates, poster colours, paint brushes,  flower cut outs and glue to make a sun visor and decorate it.

The activity helped in developing their naturalistic and visual intelligence.
