“If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?” ― Albert Einstein
All civilization has from time to time become thin crust over a volcano of revolution
A volcano is a landform (usually a mountain) where molten rock erupts through the surface of the planet.
Today children of Class I as part of the Spectrum Club did a small science experiment to learn about demonstrating how to create a volcano using salt ,oil and water.
They added oil and water as oil and water did not mix as they are immiscible liquids. To create the volcano effect children added salt to it the solution of oil and water bubbles started coming up .It is because salt is heavier than water. When salt is added to oil it sinks to the bottom of the mixture carrying a blob of oil with it.As salt starts to dissolve in water it releases the oil ,which floats back up to the top of water giving an effect of volcano.
