Light enables us to see things. Sun is our main source of light. There are also many objects that are the source of light for example torch, bulb, tube lights etc.

The Spectrum Club children learnt about the different sources of light. They also learnt that light passes through different mediums or objects. There are many objects around us which can be classified as opaque, transparent and translucent objects etc. The students learnt that that light travels in a straight line.

To prove it, they conducted experiments with different types of objects. They took the help of a torch or candle as the source of light. Children thoroughly enjoyed the activity.
