“The true method of knowledge is experiment.” -William Blake
After the introduction to the Spectrum club was a huge success, the club started with a handful of experiments which had some magic. We at SAI believe that children need to have hands-on experience with the experiment to gain knowledge. Teachers did the experiment with salt, sugar and sand to make them understand about the soluble and insoluble substance. Next Class II and III conducted experiments on air pressure. Just by using things like sponge, zip pouch, straw, tape they could easily move a pompom ball without physically touching it. They could also lift a plate using candle, glass and tissue paper. Every experiment was just like magic with some science behind it, which the children understood and could also relate with their day-to-day life.
