“Life is ‘trying things to see if they work’. ” – Ray Bradbury

Egg is a great source of protein and it also has many medicinal properties. When it comes to boiled egg many of us start to feel hungry. But how can we identify whether the egg is boiled or a raw one without breaking it?

The Class I members of the Spectrum Club did an experiment to find out whether the egg is boiled or a raw one. They took two eggs and both the eggs were spun. They observed that the egg which spun for a longer period of time was the boiled egg and which didn’t spin for long was the raw one. This happened because the boiled one has become a single solid mass which is allowing the egg to spin for a longer period of time whereas, the raw egg has both yolk and albumen which are liquid and didn’t allow the egg to spin for long. This experiment allowed the children to enjoy to the fullest and learn while gaining practical knowledge.
