The world of animals is really interesting. There are various kinds of animals like some that stay at home and some that stay in forest. Some are liked by man and some are not. However, there are certain animals who are socially useful to man.
Students of KG II were made aware of certain animals like dogs, vultures and reindeer who are socially useful to man and how they help in day to day activities. Students were exposed to certain facts about dogs like how they are useful to man.
Through various modules and activities students were made to understand that dogs are wonderful pets and beautiful creation of God. Few examples were given to portray the importance of dogs in our day to day life. Like dogs assists the police as sniffer dogs to detect the bombs, guard our house and act as a good companion.
Students thoroughly enjoyed when they were given play dough box, woogly eyes, glue and coloured papers to make a pen stand in a shape of a dog. This activity developed the naturalistic and visual intelligence of students.
