Simple Machines are invented to ease the effort of work by human beings. They play an important role in our life as they not only make our work easier but also quicker.

The students of KG II were exposed to such machines like scissors, punching machine, sharpener, stapler, spoon, fork, knife, pins etc., during an activity to know all about Simple Machine and its usefulness. These are called simple machines as they do not require fuel or electricity and have few or no moving parts.

Students were made to do many activities like cutting and punching papers as well as chopping fruits and vegetables. The children also prepared a yummy salad and shared it among their friends to get a taste of it. The activity developed their interpersonal and fine motor skill.
