Precaution is often said to be better than cure and safety is as simple is ABC, that is ALWAYS BE CAREFUL. Road safety refers to the methods and measures used to prevent road users from being injured. Every person needs to be aware of the road traffic rules, especially children and young people who have significant risks at road. Road safety education plays an important role in shaping the attitudes and behaviors of people to ensure that they become more responsible while driving, cycling, walking or crossing the road.

The children of KG-II learnt about various road safety measures through some activities. They learnt about the three important lights, red, yellow and green in the traffic signal. They also understood the importance of zebra crossing, which is especially made for pedestrians to cross the road at an appropriate time. They had a wonderful time making the traffic signals and zebra crossing which helped in enhancing their visual, naturalistic, logical, fine motor and kinesthetic skills
