“The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” — Tommy Lasorda
In a thrilling display of speed, focus, and sheer determination, two young skating stars from SAI Angan rolled their way into the spotlight at the CBSE Zonal (Far East Zone) Skating Competition 2025. With wheels on fire and hearts full of ambition, Nishtha Das and Adwat Kumar Nath proved that true champions carve their path with courage, one stride at a time.
Nishtha Das, with fierce precision and unmatched grace, clinched the Gold Medal in the 300-meter Time Trial Race. Her powerful sprint and controlled rhythm left the competition far behind, as she claimed the top podium finish with ease and elegance. It was not just a win but a statement, one of excellence, preparation, and passion. Equally remarkable was the performance of Adwat Kumar Nath, who showcased relentless energy and competitive spirit. He skated his way to two Bronze Medals, one in the 300-meter Time Trial Race and another in the One Lap Road Race. Adwat’s consistency and grit were evident in every lap, and his double podium finish is a testament to his growing prowess on the rink.
This prestigious zonal-level event brought together some of the best skating talents from the Far East Zone, making the victories of Nishtha and Adwat even more commendable. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work but also the unwavering support of coaches, mentors, and the school community that believes in nurturing both academic and athletic brilliance.
At SAI International, we celebrate holistic development. These victories go beyond medals; they inspire every SAIoneer to chase their goals with passion and perseverance, whether on a track, stage, or classroom. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see them soar even higher in the days to come.
