“Thinking is easy, acting is difficult, and to put one’s thoughts into action is the most difficult thing in the world.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
The essence of a role play activity is that it is a group cooperative experience. Along with having fun, using imagination in their play improves creativity, develops a strong problem solving approach and helps in dealing with different issues in their real life.
The students of Class II participated in a virtual role play activity on “The true story of brave Babli”. In this activity the teacher gave dialogues to children and asked them to enact the scenes. This activity was well enacted and the students learned how to deal in similar situations. Some children also shared their views on how they would react in similar situations and had their own dialogues on the spot. This helped students to learn the importance of always being alert . The students as well as the teachers enjoyed this role play to the fullest.
