“Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression. Nothing else can so effectively give outward form to an inner experience.” – Lyall Watson
Dance is a beautiful art form which requires a lot of physical strength, rhythm sense, body coordination. It helps each individual to be more physically and emotionally fit.
The Class I members of Rhythm Club beautifully performed a dance fusion of Hip Hop and Bharatnatyam. It incorporated modern and traditional classical dance styles. Boys being inspired by the legendary “King of Pop”, Michael Jackson were dressed up with modern clothes. The girls were dressed up in traditional Bharatnatyam attire. The little dancers rocked the stage with their mesmerizing hip hop/ classical remix movements.
It taught them the importance of being physically fit and the spirit of team work. The performance also helped to develop their socialisation and expression skills.
