Freedom in the Mind ….. Faith in the words … Pride in our souls … for our dear Motherland
Independence Day is an occasion when the heart of every Indian swell with immense patriotism. As the entire nation geared up for this prestigious day with ardent devotion and immense nationalism, SAI Angan was also in full fervour to rejoice this special day.
To commemorate the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day, a Special assembly was conducted by the students of Class III on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. The ceremony started with the morning prayer, followed by a speech that apprised everyone on what Independence Day means to us as Indians. A power point presentation by the students reminded us of the willing sacrifices of the great patriots of this country.
The most highlighted part of the ceremony was the powerful dance performance by the Rhythm Club students of Class II. They presented a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performances. The hall echoed with joy and strong feeling of patriotism when all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed their joy of our freedom.
The entire program was hoisted by our very talented, RJ Ishan, RJ Teisha and RJ Survi from the Radio Orange Club. The students and teachers celebrated this eve of 73rd Independence Day, with great zeal and fervour. The whole campus was immersed in the spirit of independence. Plethora of activities engaged students constructively and gave them an insight into the rich history of our country. The children made flags as their takeaway craft and painted their hands and faces with tricolour.
All these activities not only made children learn about their country but also about those heroes who sacrificed their lives to gift us an Independent country. It left an everlasting impact on their young mind, fulfilling their hearts with pride for their nation, thus making them realize the importance of being independent.
