“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” – H. Jackson Brown Jr.
The world is vast and there are innumerable ways in which one can render support to make the planet a happier place. The Classes I, II and III members of the Reflection club had a great learning experience during their club activity class held on Saturday, September 19, 2020. They reflected on the topic “If they’re in charge of the whole world what would they do to make the world a happier place.”
Children shared their amazing views on how they can contribute to bring about a positive difference. They spoke about helping poor people in getting their basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, help in providing jobs to jobless people, create vaccines for this deadly virus so that the children can go school, park & shopping malls, ban plastic, stop pollution and help cure people.
In the club classes held on Saturday, September 12, the members concentrated on imaginative writing in a bid to enhance their thinking ability. They wrote eight sentences on their favorite animal. Each of them had something different to say and it was heartening to go through their write up. The second topic really helped them to think deep and become thoughtful. They wrote a small paragraph on ‘how to treat others the way, we want us to be treated’. Again, they came up with interesting thoughts and feelings. It was heartening to see the concern of the little ones for the welfare of the society.
