Air pollution is one of the most important environmental issues that has gripped the entire world. It is one of the largest killers in the world. But air pollution can be preventable, if people become more aware on how to stop the pollution.

Students of Class III learnt about causes, effects of air pollution and various ways to prevent it. Through some activities they learnt about learnt how to reduce, reuse and recycle different things to sustain the environment.

In an activity, they made Paper Bags using old newspapers. The class was divided into two groups, and the teacher demonstrated how to make bags out of newspapers and children followed. They even decorated the paper bags. The children enjoyed the activity throughout the class. Through this activity they not only learnt how to think in innovative ways to reuse things, but also learnt how to use papers wisely.
