IIM CASE STUDY

Radio Orange Club

“If you can speak, you can influence, if you can influence, you can change lives.” – Rob Brown

The Radio Orange Club class was hijacked by an amazing group of little aspiring RJs of Class I, II and III ready to showcase their talent.

This week, the Class I members continue to speak on the topic, ” What is Peace according to you?”. All the little RJs were eagerly waiting for their chance to explain their thoughts. They stated that being peaceful helps one to be aware of themselves. They also made others understand that being peaceful helps remain healthy not just physically but mentally as well. All of them made their online platform of club activity an outstanding session.

While the students of Class II and III were ready to share their favourite song with the rest of the class. Since music is the soul of life and has the power to unite people, make us feel at peace, make us feel understood. It is something to dance to, bond over and even listen to when alone. Music is not just sound; it is its own language and it communicates so much. It ended up doing exactly that for our little RJs. The session was filled with beautiful songs sung by the RJs which uplifted our mood. Songs like “Ae Maalik Tere Bande Hum”, “Vande Utkala Janani” and “Mera Rang de Basanti Chola” took us down the memory lane whereas songs like, “Where You Are”, “Papa Mere Papa” and “Thunder” brought out the child within us. The little kids also shared their views and thoughts about their favourite songs. We were amazed to see the wide knowledge the children had on different genres of music. The session was a very exciting and engaging one, packed with mature conversations and a musical saga. It was a very memorable session which truly took us down the memory lane.
