IIM CASE STUDY

Quest Club – Countries and their Currencies

“The larger the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder.”Ralph W. Sockman

As the island grows, so does its shoreline, which is where wonder and new ideas happen. Quest means the willingness to know the world around us. The Quest Club of SAI Angan enables the members to sharpen their knowledge, and give them a good exposure of the world all around. During the weekly club classes on Saturday, July 11, 2020, the Classes I, II and III members conducted a quiz among the students.

The quiz was held on the topic, Countries and their currencies’. Currency refers to any form of money used as a medium of exchange in a country. Originally money was a form of receipt, representing grain stored in granaries. In the early stages of currency, metals were used as symbols to represent value stored in the form of commodities. In today’s age currency is mainly in the form of metal coins and paper banknotes.

The quiz helped our students to gain more knowledge about the currencies. The  class was in the form of a mind sport in which  students  attempted to answer each and every question  asked  by their friends. Everyone participated with full enthusiasm.  All the members were happy and are looking forward to another interactive class.
