Pet animals is a theme where one can easily create hands on, engaging activities to teach the little learners various skills and concepts.

In an activity for the children of Nursery, a discussion on pets was initiated where they were asked a wide range of questions like, their favourite pet, what do pets eat, where they live and what are their babies called. Children were also asked to match the pets with their babies and homes.

It was followed by briefing the class on how one should treat the animals and take care of their pets. Next, an activity on fine motor skills was conducted where children learnt to feed pets by practicing on toy rabbit and toy dog. They did it by holding their food with the help of tweezers.

It was great fun watching the children show their emotion for their pet and learning to take care of them.
