Hygiene is a term for various practices that help to preserve a person’s health and wellbeing. Personal hygiene is very important in our life. Good personal hygiene habits are directly related to less illness and better health. It is immensely important to inculcate the practice of personal hygiene from a tender age.

The students of Play Group are taught about healthy hygiene on a daily basis to create habits that last throughout their lives. In one such activity, the little ones were shown videos and photographs on hygiene and were asked questions like what the people are doing in the pictures? what do you after getting up from sleep? etc. Real objects were also shown to the children to reinforce the learning.

Practising acts of personal hygiene like brushing their teeth, washing their hands and trimming their nails help preserve their health and that of others around them. All these activities enhanced their naturalistic, visual and inter intra personal skills.
