“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.” – Chinese Proverb

On September 25, 2024, Nursery students at SAI International School embarked on an engaging journey to learn about positional words like “in” and “on.” This lesson is a crucial developmental milestone for three-year-olds, as it helps them understand spatial relationships and follow directions effectively.

Hands-On Activities with Toys:
During the lesson, the young learners participated in hands-on activities using their favorite toys to explore these concepts. They practiced placing a toy car in a box and a doll on a chair, which reinforced phrases such as “The doll is on the chair.” This interactive approach made the learning process enjoyable and relatable.

Applying Learning to Everyday Scenarios:
Through simple instructions involving soft toys, students learned to apply these positional words in everyday scenarios. This exercise not only enhanced their vocabulary but also improved their spatial awareness and comprehension—essential skills for thriving in the 21st century.

Building Essential Skills:
The excitement in the classroom was palpable as the children actively engaged with the lesson. By exploring positional words in a fun and interactive manner, the Nursery students developed key 21st-century skills, setting a strong foundation for their future learning endeavors.
