Learning a new language is always interesting. But along with it, it is also important to strengthen the grammatical skills. It is the foundation for communication regardless of any language. A message with the right set of grammar is easier to understand and reaches the receiver in correct order. To communicate effectively, it is always wise to learn how to express yourself with the right set of words.

To help improve the grammatical and vocabulary skills in Hindi of students of Class III, an interesting activity was conducted. At the beginning students learnt about the definition and usage of Muhavare or idioms. Then they were divided into two groups. One group came forward with the Idioms whereas the other group came up with its meaning.

This helped the young learners to have a better understanding on the subject. The enthusiastic students were highly involved in the classroom activity. This activity helped the young ones in strengthening their inter and intra personal skills along with their linguistic concept.
