Assembly is the most serene feature of the school where students learn the value of collective prayer and learn to inculcate moral and ethical values.
The students of KG I who were new to Morning Assembly were happy and super excited to be part of it. SAI Angan is celebrating 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by briefing the students about his great ideologies and values.
To make it more impactful, each class conducted assembly for three consecutive days. Every day included prayer by one child, a thought by another and news including international, national and on sports. On the second day each class performed a skit based on the principles of Gandhiji. When we asked who all are willing to take part in the skit and be part of the assembly, all of them raised their hands. This showed their confidence level and no stage fear, marking them as perfect SAIoneers. On the last day of assembly, the students gave a marvellous performance which was either a dance or a song.
This participation enhanced their linguistic, inter and intra personal skills and was huge learning for them. Moreover, they learnt about the values and ideologies of the Father of the Nation in a better way.
