Rhythmic utterance of words with musical touch is enjoyed by everyone, especially children. Kindergarteners love the 3-R – Rhyme, Rhythm and Repetition. These three things help to boost a child’s language and literacy skills as well as builds in a musical sense.

Metrical Stanza Recital activity helps in developing rhythm, phonemic awareness, memorization skills, self-expression and confidence. An activity on the same was conducted for students of KG-I where all of them had come well prepared and ready with props. The tiny tots displayed confidence while reciting the rhymes on the stage. The audience comprised of students and teachers highly appreciated and praised their effort by clapping.
