“Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” – Sanford Meisner
Mask Club is all about enhancing the creative side of children which not only improves self-expression but also helps in exploring the hidden ability to act. It aids in shedding inhibitions associated with performing in front of an audience and make children more aware and sensitive towards various issues.
The main idea of Mask Club is to push children beyond their comfort zones and showcase their talent. The members of Class II Mask Club presented a play on “Ramu”. The act presented the story of how a boy learns the value of each and every living being from different characters. Through this act the students learnt that each one of us have special qualities which make us unique and so we should respect everyone.
The children and teachers in the audience enjoyed and applauded the performance. RJ Samriddhi of Radio Orange Club did a brilliant job by introducing the Mask Club and the enlightening performance.
