Field trips are excellent ways which enable students to develop a gamut of skills. It gives them an educational experience away from the confines of their classroom or their regular school environment, as well as help them learn in a more hands-on and interactive manner than they do in school. For children, field trips are a welcome break in routine. The KG-I children experienced real learning on their trip to a Mall. They had an amazing time watching the various things like toys, books, shoes, clothing, fruits and vegetables being sold. They visited each part of the Mall and got a briefing on the various sections like grocery store where food items are kept along with fruits and vegetables. While walking through the store, they could find things starting from different letter sounds. It created lot of excitement among the students. The Mall turned out to be a fun place of learning and enhanced their linguistic and visual skills along with their naturalistic and kinesthetic skills.
