Machines have been making our life easy and comfortable since ages. Man has been dependent on variety of machines in his day to day life.

The students of KG-II were taught about the importance and usefulness of machines in our daily life through an activity. It started with introducing them to the simple machines like scissors, stapler, fork, knife etc which are familiar to them. Then they were explained about the working of some machines like the pulley, wheel and axle, inclined planes and levers through demonstrations. The brainstorming moment was when they were asked to give examples of different kind of machines that they see around them and in what ways they are useful. It was a whole mix of fun and learning. This developed their kinaesthetic, linguistic as well as naturalistic intelligence.
