Enjoying the beauty of nature is an important part of the development of a child. Nature gives children the chance to engage all their senses of perception. Exploring nature helps children improve their attention span and enhance the capacity to learn. An activity was conducted for the children of KG-II to augment the tiny tots’ love for learning about nature. Children were made to go out of the confines of their classroom to explore the greenery in the campus. They were thrilled to go out and feel the plants with their own hands. The real life experience was quite amazing for them. To support their creative thinking and problem solving skills, an activity on puzzle fixing was conducted, where the children were not only encouraged to read the words related to parts of the plant but also learn basic things like, roots grow under the soil and shoot grow above the soil. To enhance their linguistic and visual skills, it was followed by worksheet and audio-visual aids.
