Lights, Camera, Relaxation:  Cherished Moments for Kids, Me Time for Parents

“The greatest gift we can give our children is the freedom to explore, learn, and grow through play.” – Anonymous

On December 14, 2024, SAI Angan hosted its second session of Movie Night for Nursery and KG-I learners. This event was designed to give children a delightful and enriching experience while also providing parents with a chance to unwind and enjoy “me time.”

The children watched the charming Pooh’s Heffalump Movie, where they not only enjoyed the adventure of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends but also enhanced their social and emotional skills. In a group setting, they learned about empathy, teamwork, and communication. The event also nurtured their creativity, cognitive growth, and independence.

Parents, while their little ones enjoyed the movie and activities, had the opportunity to relax and recharge, knowing that their children were in a safe, nurturing environment. The night was filled with laughter, joy, and connection, making it a memorable experience for both kids and parents.

Why Movie Night Matters

  1. Building Independence: Encouraged children to navigate emotions in a group setting.
  2. Strengthening Social Bonds: Promoted friendships and interpersonal skills.
  3. Enhancing Cognitive Growth: Fostered creativity, empathy, and storytelling skills.
  4. Parent Respite: Offered parents a chance to relax, reflect, and recharge.
