Science is a body of knowledge and a process. Science helps in continually refining and expanding our knowledge of the universe and as it does, it leads to a question for future investigation. Practical knowledge of science always helps children to understand better.

The students of Class III participated in an exciting group activity named ‘How living things grow’. The students were divided into groups and each group was asked to show the growth in plants, animals, humans and birds. The teachers instructed the students to draw pictures of living beings growing and colour it too. For example: A seed grows into a big tree. A kitten grows into a cat. A bird hatches from eggs. A baby grows into an adult. Such activities help children understand the growth in different living organisms.
