To bring an improvement in the Hindi grammatical and vocabulary skills of the Class-III students, they were taught about Sangyan. A  Sangyan is a “shabd” that represents the name of any animal, person, place or thing. In Hindi it is also known as “Naam Shabd”. Through an interesting activity, the students not only learnt about the definition and examples of Sangyan but also identified them into different groups. In this activity they wrote some naming words and categorized them into different types of Sangyan. During the activity they also identified some words which are not nouns, which helped them to clear their concept. The students were highly enthusiastic while performing this activity in the classroom.
