Students of Class-I learnt about number combinations (Family Facts) from 1 to 9 through several interesting activities. They used rajma beans to make various pairs of numbers, adding which would reach a particular number like 5+0=5, 4+1=5 etc. They also pasted bindis and stars to show the number combination of a given number. Through demonstration, the young students were able to learn the process of making number pairs of a particular number. They learnt to make number pairs of any given number between 1 to 9 through this activity.  It was heartening to see the little ones working in groups and making pairs of any given number. These activities help to develop their logical skills and critical thinking ability.
