It is said “scientific drawings help us to understand the important science concepts”. One of the theme for the science classes was ‘Plants’. Students were excited to know about different parts of plants, its uses and functions. Through an interactive session and some activities, they gained an understanding on Plants. An activity was conducted of drawing the parts of a plant which the students liked most, in a chart paper provided to them by the teachers in the classroom. They were then asked to colour the drawing, and say a few lines about its functions. Students not only enjoyed doing this activity but also learnt the concept easily and clearly.
