Language, Culture, and Identity: A Special Assembly by Class I

“A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Language is the thread that weaves together culture, history, and identity. On March 6, 2025, the enthusiastic Grade I students of SAI Angan came together for a Special Assembly to celebrate National Language Day, paying tribute to India’s rich linguistic heritage.

Dressed in traditional Indian attire, the young learners captivated the audience with a heartfelt rendition of “Hindi Hai Hum, Watan Hai Hindustan.” Their melodious voices echoed through the hall, reflecting the deep connection between language and national pride. Through this performance, they not only celebrated Hindi as a national language but also embraced the beauty of India’s cultural and linguistic diversity.

The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of preserving and cherishing our mother tongue and cultural roots. By instilling a love for language from an early age, SAI Angan continues to nurture young minds who take pride in their heritage while embracing the values of unity and inclusivity.
