Games are an important part of one’s childhood. It aids not only in the physical growth and development but also has a positive impact on a child’s imagination, dexterity, cognitive and emotional strength.
Both indoor and outdoor games have their own benefits. Outdoor games are found to have lot many benefits as it has a strong impact and influence on the children. Exposure to such games develop various social skills, tones the bones and muscles, bring the children closure to nature and give impetus to their creativity and imagination. Outdoor games are also seen to develop a sense of love and responsibility towards the environment.
At SAI Angan, one of the best international play school in India, here students are always encouraged to play outdoor games to develop their overall personality. As part of such an endeavour, students of KG II were encouraged to enjoy outdoor games by taking them to a park. They played games like football, freesbee, etc. This enhanced their natural, kinesthetic, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.
