IIM CASE STUDY

Ignited Mind Club Performance

The art of debating teaches you to prove your point, even if you get the contradiction. It tests a person’s power of reasoning. The Ignited Minds Club students of Class II had a debate on the topic “Should we burst crackers in Diwali or not”.

They were grouped into two teams. One team spoke for the topic and the other against the topic. Very meaningful points were taken into consideration such as, instead of bursting crackers we can sit with our family and create beautiful memories. We can also donate the needy people with clothes, food, chocolates and sweets instead of wasting money on buying crackers.

After both the groups presented their point of view, they were questioned by the audience about the important points, they has put forth, to which the children answered very confidently and logically. Lastly, they concluded by saying we should celebrate Diwali but change the method of celebrating the festival for the betterment of the environment and future generation.

RJ Divyansh Agarwal from the Radio Orange Club introduced the Club and helped in maintaining discipline among the audience.
