To help students of Class-I understand about different kinds of houses and different rooms in a house along with it use, an interesting activity was conducted. Students were give picture cut-outs of different houses and rooms in the houses. They were briefed on different houses, asked to identify the houses and make drawings.
Kutcha houses are made up of mud, straw, bamboo and leave and are usually weak in comparison to other houses. Puccha houses are made up of bricks, cement, steel and iron rods and are stronger. They also learnt about different rooms in a house and the purpose of each room. Children actively participated in the group activity.
