Good Manners and Etiquettes

“Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot”. – Clarence Thomas

While it takes extra effort to be considerate and have good manners, the extra effort is worth it to make our world a kinder place. Instilling good manners and etiquettes start at a young age. Teaching a child good manners gives them the tools to succeed at their best as an adult.

Some good manners of the SAIoneers was captured inside the campus, which includes:

  • Saying ‘Thank You’, on receiving something
  • Asking permission before entering the class
  • Saying ‘Excuse Me’, if they needed someone’s immediate attention
  • Wishing the teachers
  • Raising hand and waiting for their turn during the circle time
  • Covering their mouth while coughing or sneezing
  • Following table manners in the cafeteria
  • Washing hands properly before and after having food
  • Using napkins to wipe their hands and mouth
  • Helping friend in time of need

And, like so many other things, getting kids into the habit of using manners at an early age makes things much easier in the long haul.
