Learning English becomes fun if taught in a play way method. Students of Class III learnt about Genders through an activity.

The students were first divided into small groups. Each was given a picture of a noun and were asked to name the nouns. The groups was called to the front one after the other and asked to call out the name of the noun they have got. While the other groups were asked to find a match for it. There was a huge amount of thrill within the students. They found the match and wrote it on the white board. There were some nouns which had no match to it. The teacher then explained about the different types of Genders. The students learn to categorize the given nouns under different gender columns like Feminine, Masculine, Common and Neuter Gender.
