Lord Ganesha or the God of Wisdom is depicted as a big-bellied, yellow or red god with four arms and the head of a one-tusked elephant. He is mostly portrayed in a sitting position, with one leg raised in the air and bent over the other and attended by his tiny vahan, a Mouse. He is one of the most worshipped God in the Hindu religion, who brings good fortune, wealth and prosperity.

Students of Class-II celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by singing the devotional song, “Deva Shree Ganesha Deva” and dancing to its tune. The melodious song and the foot tapping dance by the little ones made everyone tap their feet with happiness and joy, charging the whole ambience with festivity.

May Lord Ganesha bestow his presence on Earth and remove all our obstacles.
