Fun with Puzzles

“If you are curious, you’ll find the puzzles around you. If you are determined, you will solve them.” – Erno Rubik

Puzzles are an important educational learning tool for children as it helps in developing many skills. Apart from increasing their visual spatial awareness, it develops skills like reasoning, problem solving, fine motor. Playing puzzles also improves hand-eye coordination, promotes cooperative play and enhance self-esteem.

From early childhood right through to adulthood every child love to play the game. Puzzles exercise the mind of children as they try to understand the theme, think and develop strategies to place the pieces in its right place.

The students of KG I learn things according to themes and topics. As puzzles come in with a wide range of themes such as fruits, flowers and animals etc., it is used to increase their visual and improve their hand and eye coordination.

Puzzles are a great fun which challenges young minds, teaching and preparing them some important life skills. As kindergartners they work together as a team to complete a puzzle, discussing where a piece should go and why. On finishing the puzzle, children become very happy, which increases their level of confidence as well as self esteem.
