“Only children believe they’re capable of everything”. Paulo Coelho
At SAI Angan, the day starts with Free Play, where students indulge in games of their choice. Free play in early childhood is an important experience through which children learn about social, conceptual and creative skills, as well as increase their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. It helps children to solve problem for themselves, use their knowledge to play imaginatively, learn to negotiate and deal with conflict. It also helps in creating experiences enabling children to develop a sense of self and learn to respect others.
Students of KG-II were taken outdoors for their Free Play time where they enjoyed racing, sliding, hopping, balancing, playing in the tunnel etc. These physical activities allows children to use their energy and give them chance to develop gross and fine motor skills, personal awareness, language creativity, learn new things, problem solving and socialization.
It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact with the world around them. It’s a wonderful time for the students and help in enhancing their kinesthetic, inter and intra personal skills.
