“Children are not just our future, they are the joy, colour, and hope of our present.” – Anonymous
The students of Class II D recently presented a heart-warming and vibrant assembly that filled the school with positivity, festive cheer, and a deep sense of togetherness. Thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed, the program showcased the enthusiasm and talent of every single child.
The morning began with a melodious prayer, sung sweetly by the children, setting a calm and peaceful tone for the day. This was followed by a confident news reading session, where our young presenters shared the latest national, international, and sports updates, impressively incorporating sign language to make the presentation more inclusive.
In the spirit of Independence Day, the assembly continued with the Thought for the Day, followed by the Word of the Day along with its meaning and usage, helping to expand everyone’s vocabulary. A fun and surprising fact was then shared, sparking curiosity among the audience. The students also reflected on the Sharpen the Saw principle from The Leader in Me, encouraging everyone to focus on self-care, balance, and continuous growth. The highlight of the assembly was the special Janmashtami dance performance. Dressed as adorable little Krishnas and graceful Radhas, the children danced joyfully to traditional music, filling the stage with colour, culture, and charm. Their bright costumes, radiant smiles, and lively moves transported the audience to the celebrations of Lord Krishna’s birth.
The assembly concluded with the national anthem, sung proudly by all, marking the perfect end to a morning filled with learning, culture, and joy. Class II D’s assembly was a shining example of teamwork, creativity, and confidence, proving that when young minds come together with passion, the result is truly magical.
